Craziest Suspensions on Off-Road Trucks

The concept of off-road trucks started in the late seventies when Bob Chandler stuck some large tires to his Ford F250 truck, and decided to drive it over several junk cars in a nearby field to promote his new 4×4 shop. A few months later, he once again got the opportunity to showcase his truck, now named the ‘Big Foot‘, in a nearby stadium before a full crowd.
The concept was greeted with a frenzy and soon began to grip along with the public. As the word spread and more people started building these trucks, they started getting bigger, their engines got more powerful, their suspensions evolved, and tires soon grew bigger than the owners themselves. Come hill or ditch – these custom trucks just seemed to know their way around anything.
Here is a compilation of some of the craziest off-road trucks seen in positions we normally don’t expect.
